Eclipse Timer allows you to save time data that you have input for any number or any type of celestial events you are going to time. For example, if you are planning to observe a Jupiter Moon transit in the middle of the night, you can program in the times in advance during the evening and save the file. Later you can open the file and the times will be entered and you will be ready for the event. Saving the time data also serves to archive the contact times for review after events. When preparing for a Total Eclipse of the Sun and practicing your totality photography plan, you can save a practice session of a sequence of times that is at a time of day that is convenient for you.
