NASA site for eclipse predictions and eclipse bulletins, maintained by Fred Espenak. This is Fred Espenak's personal site and has a great deal of information about eclipses and photography. Spend time reviewing his images and his exposure settings. There are many, many hyperlinks on Fred's site that will take you to relevant pages on the NASA site. This is Bill Kramer's site and has a great deal of information about eclipses and photography. Definitely look at his information about eclipse photography. It's really fun to read his accounts of his Eclipse Chasing Experiences during his life, starting back in 1972. We will be traveling to Africa in December with Bill's group and we are looking forward to it! This site is managed by Peter Tiedt and had a tremendous amount of information and links about eclipses occurring in Africa. The site was helpful to me in June of 2001 and is again helpful as I prepare for December of 2002. If you are going to Africa you must explore this site. This is an excellent site managed by Jeffery Charles. Jeffery has written great articles on how to prepare to go to an eclipse; traveling, equipment, photography, etc.. These articles are a must read for first time eclipse chasers! Solar Eclipse Photography Overview This is a link to Dave Dyer's page which gives a nice overview of the important point's to remember for eclipse photography. I liked his technique of auto-bracketing with his Minolta camera and I will be trying something similar to that this December.
